Bridget Smith-
Studio Director and Owner
Bridget has been involved in the movement
and fitness industries most of her life. She
has dedicated her business to helping others
discover the emotional and health benefits
of the movement arts. She is a fully
certified Pilates Instructor, AIS Stretch
Therapist, Dance Teacher, and Yoga Instructor.
She works with special populations including low
back syndrome, sacroiliac issues, and issues
involving range of motion recovery and post
rehabilitation.
Bridget began dancing with Andree Harper and
later with Ingeborg Heuser at The University of
Texas at El Paso. She danced with Ballet
El Paso and Ballet Of The Americas in many
ballet's including The Nutcracker, Sleeping
Beauty, Pineapple Poll, Carmen, Cinderella, and Fairee
Doll.
She began teacher training in New York with
Raymond Lukens, formerly of the Boston Ballet and
currently of Boston Ballet II and the Alvin
Ailey School. She also studied with Mark
Santoro, whose Broadway performances include Tap
Dance Kid, 42nd Street, and Fascinatin Rhythm.
Modern Dance training with Louis Kourvikas on
staff at UNLV, and formerly of David Hawkins
Dance Co, Partnering and Adagio with Steve Sirico and Angela D'Alva, and Acrobatic and Jazz
with Chuck Kelly. She is a certified member of Dance
Educators of America. Bridget has been chosen
2002-2007 by
The Moscow Ballet to rehearse the children's
ballet for The Great Russian Nutcracker and
Cinderella in El Paso. Bridget has one of
the most extensive resumes in the southwest. She
has attended workshops and received

Suzanne Ramirez- Certified
Pilates Instructor
Suzanne became a certified Pilates instructor
through DK Body Balancing Method in 2002 first
studying under Ann Arnoult in Austin, Tx.
As a dancer, she performed with the Austin Dance
Ensemble and The Nashville Ballet before
returning to complete her B.S. degree in
Kinesiology from the University of Texas at
Austin in 2004. She is currently completing her
second certification through Peak Pilates as
well as a certification in Active Isolated
Stretch Therapy. She teaches Pilates Mat classes and individual
and small group Apparatus classes.
Christina Macias-Certified
Pilates Instructor and AIS Stretch Therapist
Christina is an accomplished
athlete with a strong background as a swimmer,
runner, and bicyclist. She has competed in
several triathlons and is also a fully certified
Pilates Instructor (Peak Pilates Certification
2005) She teaches group classes in Pilates Mat,
Strength and Stretch classes, and Spinning. She
is a trained Active Isolated Stretch Therapist. |
